everything in this post is spoilery! Karen Gillan has said she will welcome the next Doctor Who companion “with open arms” when her time is up on the show. Speaking on Graham Norton’s Radio 2 show yesterday, she said: “I know the time is going to come when Rory and Amy have to leave. It’s inevitable and that will make me really, really sad. But that’s the nature of the show and what’s so good about it. What keeps it exciting is the fact that it’s reinvented all the time with new people.
