Chemotherapy may influence leukemia relapse and safe alternative to chemo

The chemotherapy drugs required to push a common form of adult leukemia into remission may contribute to DNA damage that can lead to a relapse of the disease in some patients, findings of a new study suggest. The research, by a team of physicians and scientists at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, is published Jan. 11 in the advance online edition of Nature. The research is funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute and the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation. Ding L, Ley TJ, Mardis ER, Wilson RK and DiPersio JF et al. Clonal evolution in relapsed acute myeloid leukemia revealed by whole-genome sequencing. Nature. Advance online publication Jan. 11, 2012. It had been clear for all people who can think that chemo drugs would lead to cancer because they damage DNA of healthy cells as well. But for years bigpharma and it's servant FDA pushed the dangerous drugs to people and ignored the research which can lead to safe cancer therapy. I tried to get funding for my research of safe and effective method :catalytic therapy of cancer, but any time I submitted it it had been denied under some made up reason- sometimes because my English is not perfect, or something funny like this. Do any cancer patient really care about perfection of English from researcher who can offer safe and effective cure? But because patients don't have right to vote for their own safety and their lives the research like mine do not have possibility to be funded. Pity- we have the right to elect president but we do not have the right to vote for our own lives. See the articles about my research here:
